सेंट झेवियर्स आणि जय हिंद महविद्यालयाची ऑनलाईन प्रवेश प्रक्रिया द्वारे लाखो रुपये ची कमाई- प्रवेश फॉर्म ची फी अवाजवी, यावर आंबेडकर स्टुडंट्स असोसिएशन महाराष्ट्र चा आक्षेप उच्च शिक्षणमंत्री आणि कुलगुरू यांच्याकडे तक्रार, कारवाई नाही झाल्यास आंदोलनाचा इशारा

मुंबईतील व देशातील  नामांकित महविद्यालय म्हणून  सेंट झेवियर्स आणि जय हिंद महविद्यालय प्रसिद्ध आहेत. पण कोरोना च्या काळात ज्या पद्धतीने अनेक शाळा महाविद्यालये पालक व विद्यार्थांना लुटण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत आहेत त्यामध्ये सेंट झेवियर्स आणि जय हिंद महविद्यालय सुध्दा सामील झाले आहे असे आरोप संघटनेचे अध्यक्ष सचिन मनवाडकर यांनी केले आहे. ऑफलाईन प्रवेश प्रक्रियेमध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना प्रॉस्पेक्ट्स घ्यावे लागते.याची सरासरी किंमत 100 रुपये असते. ऑनलाईन प्रवेश प्रक्रियेमध्ये प्रॉस्पेक्ट्स व महविद्यालयाची माहिती वेबसाईटवर असल्याने अनेक महाविद्यालयांचे  प्रॉस्पेक्ट्स छापण्याचे पैसे वाचत आहेत. असे असताना सुध्दा सेंट झेवियर्स महविद्यालय प्रवेश प्रक्रियेसाठी ऑनलाईन अर्जाची किंमत तब्बल 500 रुपये घेत आहेत तर जय हिंद महविद्यालय अनुदानित साठी 250 रुपये आणि विनाअनुदानित साठी 500 रुपये घेत आहेत. गंमत म्हणजे जिथे विद्यार्थी कमी येतात म्हणजे एम कॉम आणि पी एच डी साठी फक्त 100 रुपये जय हिंद महविद्यालय घेत आहे.  सेंट झेवियर्स आणि जय हिंद नामांकित महविद्यालय असल्याने येथे  हजारो विद्यार्थी अर्ज करतात आणि यातून लाखो रुपयांची रक्कम  महविद्यालय  लुटत आहे. कोरोनामुळे सर्व सामान्यांवर आर्थिक संकट ओढवले असताही महाविद्यालये असा पैसा उकळत आहेत. किमान 10 हजार विद्यार्थ्यांनी जर अर्ज केले तरी या महविद्यालयाला तब्बल 50 लक्ष रुपयांची कमाई होणार आहे अशी माहिती संघटनेचे उपाध्यक्ष दिलीप रणदिवे यांनी सांगितले. अशा पदधतीने अनेक महविद्यालये ऑनलाईन प्रवेश प्रक्रियेमध्ये विद्यार्थ्याची लुबाडणूक करीत आहेत. अशा सर्व महाविद्यालयांवर मा.उच्च शिक्षणमंत्री आणि मा.कुलगुरू यांनी योग्य ती कारवाई करावी व मार्गदर्शक सूचना कराव्यात अन्यथा अशा महविद्याल्याच्या विरोधात कुलगुरू यांच्या निवासस्थानी पैसे परत मिळो या नावाने  शारीरिक अंतर ठेवून आंबेडकर स्टुडंट्स असोसिएशन महाराष्ट्र तर्फे लवकरच आंदोलन करण्याचा इशारा संघटनेचे संघटक अभिनव येलवे यांनी दिला आहे. 

St.Xavier and Jay hind Colleges are earning lakhs of rupees through Online Admission Process - Exorbitant fee of Admission Form - Ambedkar  Students Association has strongly objected this type of exorbitant fees of admission form.

The complaint has been sent to Higher Education Minister and Vice-Chancellor, If action has not taken then ASA will do the agitation.

St.Xavier and Jay hind colleges are popular in Mumbai as well as in-country for their standard and reputation. But in this Corona pandemic as how some schools and colleges are looting parents and students so as St.Xavier and Jay Hind colleges have also joined in this loot; blamed Ambedkar Students Association's President Mr.Sachin Manwadkar. Students have to take prospectus in the offline admission process and this averagely costs  Rs. 100/-. In the online admission process prospectus and college information being on the website, many colleges save their expenses on this. Even though St.Xavier College is charging Rs.500/- for online application form for admission. Similarly, Jay hind college is charging Rs.250/- for aided and Rs. 500/- for non aided streams. It’s funny that where less no of a student applies eg. M.Com and PhD, Jay hind College is charging Rs.100/- only. St.Xavier and Jay hind both being nationwide reputed; thousands of students apply and through this colleges are taking away lakhs of rupees.

Corona pandemic has engulfed common man in an economic crisis and colleges are earning money through this. Ambedkar Students Association’s Vice President Dilip Ranadive has informed us that If at least 10 thousand students applied at both colleges St.Xavier and Jay hind colleges will get Rs.50 lakes each. In this way how colleges are cheating students. Many students have complaints to Ambedkar Students Association this regard.

Hon'ble  Higher Education Minister and  VC of the University of Mumbai should take appropriate action against such colleges and should give clear guidelines in this regard. Otherwise, Ambedkar Students  Association will soon initiate agitation at Bungalow of Vice-Chancellor of The University of Mumbai against such colleges by maintaining physical distancing; warned ASA's Organiser Abhinav Yelve. This agitation will be called Give Us- Our Money.
